The Association appreciates the help of educators who tell students with critical financial need and adversity about the Horatio Alger scholarship opportunities. Below you can access more information about our Collegiate Partners Program, Field Directors Network, the application, and how to stay informed about application news by joining our Stay Updated List.
The Horatio Alger Association Collegiate Partners Program is a consortium of colleges and universities who share the Association's mission to provide scholarship assistance to deserving young people who have high financial need, demonstrated integrity, determination in overcoming personal adversity, and a commitment to making a contribution to society.
Field Directors are volunteers involved in education who serve as the localized representatives of the Horatio Alger Association. There is at least one field director in each of the fifty states and Puerto Rico. Field Directors promote the Association's scholarship programs within their state.
Many counselors serve as the front-line resource for students as they complete the scholarship application. The 2014 scholarship application has closed for high school seniors graduating in spring 2014.
